THE CONFERENCE

Bahrain’s premier petroleum event for 2009, MEOS 2009 will bring together leading oil and gas professionals to the Bahrain International Exhibition from 15- 18 March 2009.

MEOS 2009 is unrivalled in creating a platform for companies and individuals to explore and discuss the major issues faced in the oil and gas industry, including human resources, demand and technological advancements.

Drawing on the SPE’s expertise in organising conferences of excellence, the programme will cover a broad range of technical and topical issues including 200 high quality technical papers, 31 technical sessions and 8 panel sessions focused on upstream developments and Middle Eastern issues, presented by senior delegates and industry leaders, and chaired by Mr. Faisal Al-Mahroos, Chairman of BAPCO. There will be simultaneous sessions in five conference rooms as well as organised lunches and dinners.

In addition to the recognition listed with the individual items below, as a sponsor your company will receive:

Gala Dinner – US$36,000 [Taken by KOC]

The sponsorship of this high-profile honoring the MEOS 2009 dignitaries and volunteers will be recognized by including your company logo on the event invitations as well as a reserved table and invitations for ten at the event.

Abstracts CD – US$17,000

An electronic version of the technical programme abstracts, this item is also distributed to every professional delegate. Your company name and logo will appear on the CD label..

Technical Program – US$10,000 increments

Audiovisual Equipment and Services – US$50,000

MEOS’s cutting-edge presentations are not possible without projection and display technology and services. Your company’s name and logo will be recognized electronically in each session hall and on signage in the poster presentation area.

Delegate Bag – US$37,000 [Taken by ADMA OPCO]

Your company’s logo will appear on this item which will be carried by an anticipated 1,500 conference delegates long after the event has concluded.

Preliminary & Final Conference Program – US$22,000

This official guide includes the official conference schedule and delegate information, technical presentation times, and letters of welcome by various dignitaries and is given to every professional registrant. Your company’s name and logo will be featured on the front cover.

Internet Café – US$16,000

In today’s world, it’s imperative to stay connected. Delegates using the internetaccessible computers in this special area will see your company’s name and logo prominently displayed.

Lanyards – US$6,600 [Taken by Schlumberger]

Supply lanyards with your company’s logo. These will be distributed to all delegates and visitors at the MEOS 2009 registration areas.

Registrations – US$26,500 [Taken by Rawabi Holding]

Online & Onsite based registrations, banner advertisements at registration desks and much more. All registration for the conference will be carried out through the MEOS 2009 official web site with delegates paying by credit card where the sponsor’s corporate identity will be prominently displayed.

On registering, delegates are required to print out their confirmation sheet which includes a barcode which is scanned at the registration counters at the Exhibition Centre to print the delegate badge.

The sponsor’s logo will also be displayed prominently in a banner at conference registration as well as on the registration page (with a link to the sponsor’s web site) on the web site registration page. It will also be printed in the hard copy of the Technical Conference Programme.

Signage – US$10,000 [Taken by KOC]

Company name and logo on all temporary directional signs inside the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre.

 

Coffee breaks – US$10,000 per day (3 days in total)

Your company and its logo will be recognized at the sponsored catering points for each day of your sponsorship.

Catered Lunches – US$30,000 per day

Delegate lunches are offered each day in a special VIP area of the conference centre to all delegates. Your company’s logo will be prominently displayed on signage at the event and on the official invitations in the delegate packs.

General Support – US$1,000 and up

Show your support of the Middle East and MEOS 2009 by contributing to the conference’s general fund. All monies contributed will go to offset conference expenses.
